Merkur is another example of how the Amscap team successfully brings offshore wind to financial close.

In April 2015, Amscap was engaged as financial advisor to Merkur Offshore, the EUR 1.7 billion 396 MW offshore wind farm to be built in the German North Sea approximately 45km North of the island of Borkum. As part of this engagement, Michael van der Heijden was appointed one of the two project company Managing Directors, responsible for re-structuring and financing the project.
